FCC Aeration Flows as MVs in DMC Controllers

Have you used aeration flows as MV's in DMC controllers? Besides looking at the pressures / delta pressures along the stand pipe, what else was considered in manipulating the aeration flows.

What was done to ensure that it did not get into bubbling? Any other information / tips that you could provide would be of great help.
